A tattoo artist with a beard, glasses, a baseball cap, and black gloves is tattooing someone at a tattoo studio. There is a lit ring light behind him and some artwork on the brick wall in the background. Greg Marsden

Greg

Owner /Artist

With more than 20 years of professional tattooing experience, Greg Marsden is the owner and artist behind Rustic Tattoos in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Known for his versatility, Greg specializes in bold neo-traditional colour, anime-inspired work, and soft black and grey, while creating custom tattoos in a wide range of styles. His approach is simple: listen to each client's ideas, design artwork that fits them personally, and create tattoos that will stand the test of time. Whether it's a first tattoo or a full custom sleeve, Greg is committed to delivering high-quality, thoughtfully designed work in a relaxed, welcoming environment where every client feels comfortable from consultation to completion.

Outside the studio, Greg is an artist, hobby painter, and lifelong fan of pop culture, gaming, and hockey and lacrosse. Interests that often inspire his creative approach to tattooing. Known for his relaxed personality and collaborative design process, he enjoys working with clients to refine their ideas into unique, custom artwork. From large-scale color projects to meaningful black and grey pieces, Greg's goal is simple: create tattoos that are technically solid, visually striking, and every bit as individual as the people who wear them. Over the years, his work has earned awards and recommendations throughout the Maritime tattoo community, particularly for vibrant color pieces and nerd-culture inspired tattoos.

Brianna

Yo! I'm Brianna — I've been slinging tattoos in Halifax, N.S. since 2013. I have a special interest in anything floral-related and love designing delicate blooms as well as bold botanical pieces. I’ve worked in street shops my whole career and am comfortable doing almost anything that walks through the door, from custom pieces to walk-in flash. New clients are always welcome.

Check out my Instagram @brianna.tattoo for a full look at my artwork, available flash sheets, and upcoming tattoo conventions where I’ll be vending or guesting. I charge $150/hour, which is also the minimum charge for tattoos. You can contact me directly through Instagram or via Gmail. A non-refundable $80 deposit is required to secure bookings.

When I'm not in the tattoo shop I'm chillin' with fam, throwing endless balls with my two German Shepherds, binge-watching old episodes of Law & Order: SVU, or enjoying an ice-cold Guinness.

Cheers!
