Before Your Appointment
A little preparation can make your tattoo session much more comfortable.
Wear appropriate clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed.
Come hydrated and make sure you’ve eaten before your appointment.
Avoid alcohol the night before and please don’t arrive hungover.
Feeling sick? Consider how you’re feeling and reschedule if needed. We only require 24 hours notice to reschedule.
Bring snacks and a drink, especially for longer sessions.
Bring anything that helps you stay comfortable, such as a small pillow.
The studio can get chilly, so a small throw blanket or extra layer can be helpful.
Plan to relax! Being comfortable, fed, and hydrated makes the whole experience easier.

Tattoo Aftercare
Proper aftercare helps your tattoo heal cleanly and keeps it looking its best.
Keep your bandage on for 24–48 hours, unless your artist gives you different instructions.
After removing the bandage, gently wash your tattoo with warm water and mild, unscented soap.
Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Do not scrub or rub the tattoo.
After the first 24 hours, or as needed apply a small, pea-sized amount of unscented moisturizer as needed. Don't over-moisturize.
Do not pick or scratch peeling or flaking skin. Let it come off naturally.
Avoid swimming, hot tubs, baths, and soaking your tattoo while it's healing.
Avoid direct sunlight and tanning during the healing process.
Wear clean, loose-fitting clothing over the area whenever possible.
Your tattoo's outer layers generally heal within about 2 weeks, but deeper layers can take 4–6 weeks to fully settle.
